So I’ve decided that the absolute best garment to have in your closet is a fancy sweatshirt. I’m not kidding, a black sweatshirt that is the perfect fit can take you anywhere from a workout class to date night to a Real Housewives marathon on the couch. After I did this interview with Ragdoll LA designer, Lisa Larson, I couldn’t help but go online and impulse buy the line’s lace-up version. Faded black is a great choice because it goes with everything and still has a little bit of worn out edge to it. I threw it on for a casual Friday night out on Abbot Kinney with the shortest cut-offs I could find by One Teaspoon (not completely accurate, I’ve got shorter but they rarely see the light of day) and a lower, strappy heel. The gubby calls this looks “A lotta skin, not a lotta face.” P.S. I am wearing this sweatshirt as I type, I suppose it’s this year’s safety blanket.
